Fixed(Ceramic teeth)

Fixed ceramic teeth refer to restorations that are cemented or bonded onto your existing teeth or implants. They are custom-made to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, providing a seamless and functional replacement for damaged or missing teeth.

What Type of Problems Can Be Fixed by Ceramic Teeth?

  • Stains on your teeth due to foods, beverages, tooth injury or medications
  • Chipped teeth
  • Misaligned or unevenly shaped teeth
  • Worn down teeth
  • Spaces between teeth

There are two main types of fixed ceramic restorations:

Dental Crowns

A crown is a cap placed over a damaged or decayed tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are ideal for teeth that are weakened or severely worn.

Dental Bridges

A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring the restoration to the surrounding natural teeth or dental implants. The fixed bridge spans the gap left by the missing teeth.

What Is the Procedure for Getting Ceramic Veneers?

At Signature Smiles, we put your patients first. Our Dentists first understand your expectations and set goals so that the treatment is customized to your needs. Our state-of-the-art Smile Design software will give you realistic images of what your smile will look like after the final result is achieved. Thus, you will understand the transformation of your teeth and be able to visualize the result beforehand.

After the Dentist examines your mouth, he will prepare the front surfaces of your teeth by removing a small layer of enamel from them. This is done so that the surfaces can bond well to the veneer and accommodate them.

Your Dentist then takes impressions of the prepared teeth. These impressions will help the lab create custom-made veneers.

Temporary veneers might be placed over your teeth to protect them while the permanent veneers are being made.

Once your permanent veneers are ready, your Dentist will attach them to your teeth using a bonding agent. The procedure normally does not require anaesthesia.

Your Dentist may make any necessary adjustments to ensure the veneers fit comfortably and look natural.

You may have a follow-up appointment to make sure the veneers are functioning properly.
